Developing a project like UMetaWorld presents a multifaceted challenge. The platform needs to support a VR-based metaverse that incorporates elements of the physical world into a virtual environment, facilitate blockchain transactions, enable the creation and trading of NFTs, provide a high degree of scalability and performance, and ensure a seamless user experience across various devices.
Solution:
The development team deployed Unity 3D and Unreal Engine for VR creation, Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain for blockchain transactions and NFTs, and Inter Blockchain Communication Protocol for cross-chain interoperability. Backend was handled using Node.js and Express.js, while frontend utilized React.js and Three.js. Python was used for computational tasks, MongoDB for data management, and React Native for mobile accessibility. IPFS and AWS ensured decentralized storage and robust hosting.
